TRX Basic Training Boot Camp

Sun 4:15-5:15 PM and Wed 5:30-6:30 PM

Ready to become HardCORE?  This 6 Week Boot Camp will redefine your fitness!  You’ll increase core strength, cardio fitness, and flexibility, while remaining accountable to your personal coach.  Basic Training Boot Camp introduces you to the benefits of TRX training where you’ll learn proper form and technique first before quickly ramping up the duration and intensity of your workouts.  Learn over 40 TRX Exercises so you can Work Out Like a Pro by the end of your 6 Weeks! 6 Week Customized TRX Basic Training Boot Camp Guide, Personalized Online Coaching, and TRX Boot Camp Sponsor Discounts are included in the TRX Basic Training Boot Camp.

 

TRX Launch Boot Camp

Sun 3-4 PM and Wed 6:40-7:40 PM

This new customized Woodall Training Boot Camp is a 'Launch Pad' for beginners wanting to explore the benefits of TRX training without the HardCORE intensity of Basic Training. TRX Launch Boot Campers focus heavily on exercise forma dn technique while learning basic body positioning and core integration for over 40 TRX movements. Additionally, the focus is on adapting to basic all-body strength training, building core strength, increasing stamina and improving flexibility. TRX Launch is not for the inactive person! Boot Camoers should be currently active (i.e.: walking, swimming, biking, etc...) for at least one month prior to camp.    6 Week Customized TRX Launch Boot Camp Guide, Personalized Online Coaching, and TRX Boot Camp Sponsor Discounts are included in the TRX Launch Boot Camp.

TRX Drop-in Classes

 

CORE

Take your performance to the next level and leave each unique, custom designed class feeling worked-to-the-CORE.  These 40-60 minute CORE-based drop-in classes are specifically designed to enhance athletic performance. Current runners, cyclists, and swimmers who TRX with Woodall Training have experienced marked race improvement from increasing core strength, shoulder stability, leg strength, power, and flexibility. Not an athlete?  Not a problem! Mon/Tues CORE have a Lower Body and Core Focus (L/C) and Friday CORE is Upper Body and Core (U/C).

Prior Completion of a TRX INTRO Boot Camp is required.

Class limited to 22 on a ‘first-come’ basis. ($16/class or monthly HardCORE pass)

 


 

CIRCUIT

Take advantage of this popular cardio/strength based drop-in!  CIRCUIT is a 1 hour All-Body TRX Circuit that will challenge you differently each week.  Tired of the same ‘pre-programmed’ group workout routines?  CIRCUIT Classes never repeat!  Each week, the workout is custom-designed to appropriately train all leves ofl participants. This is not a low impact class!

Prior Completion of a TRX INTRO Boot Camp is required.

Class limited to 22 on a ‘first-come’ basis. ($16/class or monthly HardCORE pass)

 


 

CLIMB

This new 45 min TRX class is a friendlier, low impact option for newer TRX'ers. TRX Climb is the next step up after completing TRX Launch or TRX Basic Training. Climbers get a custom-designed, all-body workout each class, but at a slower pace than Circuit or Fusion.

Prior TRX experience or completion of a TRX INTRO Boot Camp is required.

FUSION

Join the fun!  This popular Saturday morning 7-8:15 am drop-in boot camp uses functional training on and off the TRX to deliver a killer workout. Combine cutting-edge TRX training, partner exercises, cardio drills, and various other equipment for a unique cardio/strength combination. Kick-off your weekend with a challenge!

Prior TRX experience preferred. Moderate-High fitness level is required.

Class limited to 40 on a ‘first-come’ basis. ($16/class or monthly HardCORE pass)

Kari Woodall brings suspension training to you in a progressive boot camp style class filled with energy and enthusiasm.  The TRX Boot Camps combine strength training, cardio activity, flexibility, music, motivation and accountability to give you a fitness experience unlike any other boot camp you’ve attended.  From the elite level athlete seeking an edge, to the recreational fitness enthusiast looking to increase overall fitness, Woodall Training TRX Boot Camps provide the structure and motivation to achieve your goals.

What exactly is the TRX Boot Camp?

The TRX Boot Camp is a 6 Week Training Course, consisting of two or three weekly 1 hour TRX Group Classes and two Individual Workouts found in your TRX Boot Camp Guide.  The TRX Group classes are extremely efficient and effective, and boot campers leave each class feeling challenged and accomplished!  Throughout the 6 weeks, each boot camper has the opportunity to communicate fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle goals to the TRX Coach via email, and the TRX Coach advises each boot camper accordingly on how best to achieve those goals.  Each boot camper is also assigned a boot camp partner whom they use for motivation and accountability throughout the course.

 

What is the goal of the TRX Boot Camp?

Keep fitness fresh!  Instead of traditional weigh-ins and measurements as the primary focus, Woodall Training’s intent is to help encourage and create a healthy lifestyle through TRX training in hopes of carving a new and challenging fitness niche in each boot camper’s life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

What will I learn in the 6 Week TRX Intro Boot Camp?

Throughout the 6 Week TRX Boot Camp, boot campers learn a multitude of exercises and finish the course with a full TRX Exercise Library.  After 6 Weeks, each boot camper will be able to safely execute almost 40 TRX exercises.  A TRX Boot Camp Guide with each TRX exercise taught in the course is given to each boot camper.  The goal is to introduce the TRX, show boot campers why it is so effective, and teach them how to use it safely on their own.  Proper exercise technique is taught with each new exercise added, and progressions and regressions are always given so each TRX Boot Camper gets the workout experience they need.

 

 

Do I need permission from my physician prior to joining the TRX INTRO Boot Camp?

A doctor's permission is highly recommended and encouraged since the boot camps progress into rigorous exercise. If you have any health related concerns, please address these with your physician prior to boot camp.

 

Do I need to be active prior to the TRX Boot Camp?

Yes! The workouts begin slowly and progress in intensity and duration accordingly throughout the 6 weeks.  No prior TRX experience is needed to join this boot camp, but boot campers should be previously active and injury free before joining.

 

 

How do I sign-up so I’m guaranteed a spot?

Do I have to purchase a TRX to join the TRX Boot Camp?

Boot Campers are not required to purchase a TRX for the course; however, a weekly TRX Bonus Workout is emailed for Boot Campers who do own a TRX. 

 

What are the attendance requirements?

By signing up, boot campers commit to attending all 6 weeks--sickness and last minute work exceptions are understandable, but please try to attend everything.  This is the best way to ensure optimal strength and conditioning progress and there are lots of new exercises to learn!  It is also expected that each participant perform the two extra individual workouts each week. 

 

What if I miss a class?

TRX make-up classes are offered to ensure each boot camper gets the best training experience possible.  If illness or work-related issues arise, you are highly encouraged to make-up those missed classes. All make-ups must be completed before the last day of your boot camp session.

Opting out of a class intentionally is not grounds for a make-up class. You snooze, you lose!!

 

How can I continue TRX Training after my 6 week Intro Course?

The goal in the first boot camp is to teach the basics and build strength and stamina so boot campers can continue using the TRX regularly in training. Woodall Training offers many other weekly class times, and all TRX Intro Graduates are welcome to join the drop-in classes!



Where are the TRX Classes offered? 

All TRX Boot Camp classes take place at the Middleton Fire Station 1. Click here for directions The TRX Mezzanine at the station was customized to ensure each person has optimal training space. You won’t find a brighter, more open or better equipped TRX space in the state!

 

How many spots are available in each class? 

There are 22 TRX's hanging in the spacious ‘TRX Mezzanine' at the Middleton Fire Station.

 

Will my Insurance Companies offer reimbursement for TRX?

Most insurance companies provide a stipend or reimbursement program for exercise programs. Have you checked with your insurance company? Let Kari know if you'd like a detailed receipt for reimbursement.

 

 

What is the TRX Boot Camp cancellation policy?

Full refunds are honored if the reserved space is cancelled within 2 weeks of the first day of class or if the spot fills after cancelling.  Partial refunds are honored if boot campers attend one week or less.

 

I can’t make the TRX Boot Camp times work with my schedule.  Is there another option? 

Don't wait to get involved with Woodall Training TRX! Can you make 75% of the Intro Boot Camp classes? If you can, then sign-up! I recommend attending as many of the Intro classes as possible, but make-ups are encouraged and available throughout your camp and for 2 weeks afterwards.

Another option is to grab some friends and create your own TRX Boot Camp of 12-19 people, You choose the days and times that fit your schedules!  Your group class is created to appropriately challenge the fitness levels of participants.  Early mornings, lunch time, and evening classes are all available for scheduling.  Contact Kari via email to schedule a group class with your friends.
